The Oblates of Mary Immaculate often work in remote areas of Thailand where one of the most urgent needs is the education of the poor children who live there.
We wanted to give an answer to this need with the one of the simplest way we know: scholarships. Our NGO, whose main aim is to help the young people to reach a sufficient education in order to be able to give their contribution to the society, is the instrument we use to achieve this goal.
The young people we help come from the remote mountainous areas in Chiangmai, the poor area in the North-East and also from the slams around the city of Bangkok. The money we use from this project come, mostly, from abroad that’s why we want to give you and all our friends who believe in the importance of education, the opportunity to help us.
